ARTG1501 Game Studio
Credit Hours: 3 semester hours
Co-requisites: ENGL1101 Discourse and Composition
Course Description
Students will learn the layout of a typical game studio (org structure and job descriptions).
This class will introduce the student to the 3 discipline pillars of game design. Basic paper versions of art, design and programming will give an overview and intro to the game creation process from the view of each.
Goals and Objectives
The goals of this course are as follows:
Give students exposure to the diverse areas of focus in studio development.
Put into practice the processes and workflows necessitated for game creation.
Focus on the basic fundamentals of game design.
